When in elementary school and all the way into college we are required to learn and memorize vocabulary words so we can use them when we need them. If we didn’t learn and know the meaning of words, how would we process things? It would be extremely difficult, right? When we are feeling unworthy, unloved, or shameful, it’s very important for us to know and remember these particular definitions so we can be reminded of the truth when we believe the lies.
Just like in school, I would like for you to get your journal and write down all these words and definitions. Seriously, do it! These are words you should study and meditate on. I have provided an affirmation, a definition, and scripture for each word, so jot them all down in your journal! Each word holds so much truth, and we know that the truth is what sets us free (John 8:32). Allow truth to set you free. Allow Jesus to set you free from lies that are holding you back from experiencing his peace.
